Featured Pet: Joey was found all alone and lonely in a ditch. He was most probably born a normal puppy who then suffered a trauma, which left him blind and with a broken left paw that is now crooked after a lack of immediate treatment. He will be seeing an orthopedic vet soon to determine what if anything can be done at this point. The eye vet said his eyes are normal but his brain is not interpreting the signal and that he suffers from 90% Central Blindness. He is a very sweet and loving dog who loves to follow other dogs around. He is trying really hard to adjust to his blindness and he will need a family who is willing to give him the time, love and patience to thrive with his disability. His favorite activity is to sit on your lap with a chew toy until he falls asleep.
